The trees and flowers are blossoming and it is oh so pretty! Animal print is big (if you live in Jersey or not) and is really fun to style, whether you're feeling wild or just looking for something different (see Ashley's leopard post from last week here). This post also makes me look forward to a nice summer tan... anyone else feeling pale and ready for some heat?!

Well, this week started off with a lot of rain and ended with chilly spring temperatures so we are going with a casual theme today! It's always a good feeling to give your feet a little break from those heels and flats and don't forget to give your hair a break every once in awhile too.  Check out our J.Crew Inspiration Board on Pinterest. We love the easy look of the men's baseball cap thrown in with some girly colors. The Glitterati love being cozy and comfortable just as much as we love getting dolled up to go out and what better way to be comfy than getting into a really good book!

Getting ready for work yesterday I found myself in these black skinnies and leopard shirt, don't get me wrong, leopard is fun (and we all know I wear a lot of it), but I felt too drab.  I immediately thought, pink belt, tossed that on, then remembered this two-strand J. Crew necklace with one strand of pink stones and suddenly my outfit was... better!  Thanks to those two accessories and one quick swipe of my favorite pink lip cream I was ready to go with the perfect amount of outfit accents.

I know it's rainy and gross in New England right now but these photos were taken last week in the April sunshine!  I put this outfit on last Thursday for work and immediately thought I should be going on a boat, not heading to work but I wore it anyways. I picked up these linen J. Crew pants at the end of last summer and this was the first time I wore them, needless to say they were very comfortable and I'll be wearing a lot more of them!

Rainy weekends usually equals yoga pants and movie marathons, but I wanted to show you the other side of rainy day gear that isn't often seen. I have been dreaming about trenches lately, wanting a classic tan trench (even though it hasn't rained in months), and I totally forgot I had this black one! So since the April showers have finally begun, I was excited to wear it. Enjoy the coziness of the rain these next couple of days!

Fab Finds

This week our Fab Finds are being beautified! 

For starters, we're sure many of you have heard of the beauty website Temptalia.com but if you haven't you must check it out!  They provide everything make-up related: reviews, tutorials, trends and most importantly, every Monday they have a list of sales -- who couldn't love that?!

Second of all, I, Ashley, went a little Ulta crazy last week and want to share my favorite new purchases! 

1. Ulta Tanning Applicator Mitt - Some of you may have seen my tweet about this and it's honestly the best $5.00 I've ever spent.  I don't know how I ever lived without it, all of my sunless tanning lotion goes on perfectly smooth with no streaks whatsoever.  

2. Stila Smudge Crayon Waterproof Eye Color - Try saying that ten times fast!  This is a waterproof eye primer/eye shadow all rolled into one. It's easy to apply, comes in a bunch of colors, and stays on all day. 

3. Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray - Many of you (including Ally!) probably use the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray but I have fairly oily skin and was looking for a different type of spray.  Thankfully, I have found it!  I spray my face quick before I put foundation on and then again when I'm finished my makeup and I must say that this product works wonders. If you have oily skin, I highly recommend it. 

4. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer - This bronzer smells like cocoa, need I say more? But seriously, I was running out of my Bare Escentuals Warmth and wanted to try something different; I took advice in buying this from my makeup guru sister and I'm glad I did.

White Hot

The time has finally come for me to break out my white jeans!  I love white jeans and I've had this pair for a few years now, luckily they are still available at Madewell and I highly recommend them.  I'm always wary of white pants being too sheer but these are sturdy enough to be completely opaque while still fitting very well.  I paired them with a simple black tank and denim jacket spicing my look up with a statement necklace and some new red wedges!

Peplum on the Pier

I have been on the hunt for the perfect peplum top and not wanting to spend a lot on one. I found this while in Philly last weekend and it fits great and has a cool V back (and I couldn't resist buying it in cobalt blue too)! I kept this outfit really simple with just a few hot pink accents... letting the peplum have its moment. And other than the culture shock I experienced in Philadelphia, I really enjoyed this pier across from our hotel as well as some lovely weather.

Over the weekend I attended a baby shower for one of my best friends!  The shower was beautiful (thanks to her mom!) and everyone is that much more excited for June to roll around!  I took advantage of the summer weather we are having and pulled out this blue-green dress from Urban Outfitters.  I'm a little embarrassed to admit the belt I'm wearing is from Hollister Co., my place of work circa 2006. But I've always loved this belt and it looks great with summer dresses, especially accentuating an already cinched waist; some accessories you just can't throw away. I hope everyone else enjoyed their warm weekend as much as I did!

I just had to borrow my aunt's fabulous front porch for this shoot because it matched my outfit so perfectly (even Libby made a guest appearance)! I love the way the baby blue of this tee and the minty chinos make a soft spring color combo that's fun to accessorize! Even though Easter is over, I don't see the pastels going anywhere too far...

Product Review: Ivana B Skinny Cocktails

Happy Friday!  Today we are Fab Finding Ivana B Skinny Cocktails! We'll start by saying that these cocktails should most definitely be on the menu for your next girl's night (they're on ours!).  The wine-based cocktails come in three flavors: Cosmopolitan, Margarita, and Apppletini and contain under 100 calories per 5 ounce serving.  We are both partial to margaritas, so naturally that was our favorite flavor but you can often find us drinking cosmos (emulating Carrie Bradshaw, of course) and the occasional appletini come summertime!

Today's post is guest starring Michelle; this girl loves to glam it up! Her shirt was a steal at Urban Outfitters and she wears it all the time.  For this look, she paired it with some high waisted jersey pants from Forever 21, nude pumps, and a classic low bun.  To brighten up the black/tan look, she donned some Tiffany blue polish, conveniently named "For Audrey" and her favorite red-orange lipstick by Sephora (# R07)..

Also, there are these amazing trails near my house (hence the adorable bridge), and some hikers were very confused why I was dressed like this... not exactly ideal hiking gear. Happy Wednesday!

I'm usually all for dresses on Easter but Sunday was just too cold for me.  Instead, I went with my trusty green J. Crew toothpick skinnies and the paisley print perfect shirt!  I adore both of these pieces separately and this was the first time I paired them together.  I was pleased with the combination. The jeans really bring out the green in the shirt and my pink nails and lips (NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa) brightened me up some more. What did you all wear for Easter? I hope all of you living in warmer weather wore a dress on my behalf!

Prints Charming

Do you ever wonder how to transition one amazing piece from a day look to a night look or vice versa?  Well here we are in the same amazing Banana Republic Linda Floral dress with Ashley dressed for day and Ally dressed for night.  Ashley kept the dress classic with a few pieces of pearl jewelry, a bright cardigan, and nude shoes.  Ally glammed the dress up with some neon jewelry, a bomber jacket, and black booties.
