There's certain patterns and fabrics that always remind me of the holiday season... velvet (I loved this when I was little. I think I even wore velvet in July), plaid, and sequins. The dreary outsides really need some pops of color to help get through this long season. I would probably wear this velvet short sleeve blouse to every holiday party if I could (unfortunately it sold out almost instantly in the pink). Everything else just doesn't cut it!
I've totally noticed the resurgence of velvet! It makes me wish I had adult versions of a few outfits from when I was a kid - I wore a lot of velvet in the 90s haha
