[ Invisible Children ]

We hope that many of you have heard about Joseph Kony and the #Kony2012 Campaign to stop what is going on in Uganda and has been going on for 26 years.  Kony is the leader of the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) which has abducted more than 30,000 children in Northern Uganada.  He and his army have been known to rape, murder, mutilate, and brainwash these children into child soldiers.  We are thrilled that this video has recently gone viral and that celebrities and government personnel are in support of the cause.  This is something that is very important to us; in the years 2006-2007, Ashley's high school raised over $17,000 for the Invisible Children Schools for Schools program which provided these children with new schools which became safe havens for them.  If you haven't seen this 30 minute film, PLEASE WATCH, and if you have we recommend getting your hands on the 2006 film, Invisible Children: Rough Cut, it is truly life changing.

There's certainly more to the Glitterati other than just clothes. We are both huge book worms. Currently, we are reading this book (in preparation for the movie coming out on April 20) and can't help but anticipate seeing Zac's amazingly good looks on the big screen! Sometimes a girl just needs a sweet little romance to daydream about.
