As some of you loyal readers may know, I spent this past Thanksgiving in Disney World!!! I thought I would share a few photos with you all from our 4-day whirlwind trip. My family and I had a lot of fun, ate too much good food, rode some fun rides, and thankfully had amazing weather! Aside from the collage of events, I am sharing our Thanksgiving Day outfits. We are first pictured in front of a massive gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort where we were lucky enough to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving dinner! You can see we chose cute but comfortable outfits because after dinner it was off to the Magic Kingdom. It was fairly chilly that night and our jackets came in handy, especially after riding Splash Mountain! I hope you all enjoy the photos and had great holiday weekends!

The holidays are quickly arriving and it's always stressful trying to find the perfect outfit that's either not too fancy or not too casual. I'm a huge jeans girl so when I want to go a little dressier, I love having the option of a brightly colored pant that fits great and makes you think differently about what you want to wear on top. Outlet shopping is pretty ideal for all you dedicated Black Friday shoppers. We love Wrentham because it has almost every store possible! The great thing is it opens at midnight on Thanksgiving and if you plan on heading there then check out this list of in-store sales and promotions.

We are total kids in a candy store at Ulta! It gets to the point where do we realllllyyyy need five more nail polishes? Their Black Friday ad has some great deals! GREAT stocking stuffers as well.

[ H&M ]

We all know the stores are probably completely wiped out after the Versace for H&M collection launched last Friday. All you lucky people that scored some great stuff, we are SUPER jealous! But definitely take advantage of these deals. H&M is a great place to score some trendy fashionable items without having to give up food for the week.

[ Urban Outfitters ]

Always great to get some deals at Urban, just make sure you get there early!

Unfortunately, Black Friday isn't meant for all you high end shoppers out there. Saks and Neimans will be pretty quiet today but get some good stuff, and if you don't make it out don't fret! The deals and sales will keep on coming until Christmastime. Happy and safe shopping!!

Buttons & Plaid

On the cool fall days in the countryside of New England, there's nothing better than feeling the warmth of the sun. The sun sets so early these days so layers are a necessity to have on hand. Start with a turtle neck, add a plaid or gingham shirt with some tonal similarities, and finish with a chunky sweater. The progression of the collars all compliment each other without becoming overbearing. A glamourous chunky necklace and even just the fabulous sailor-like buttons are the all the accessories needed.

We all know that getting dressed for work is not always the most exciting but maybe it can be...? These Really Skinny pants by The Gap (shown in black) have become my favorite attire. I'm not a fan of the standard "work pant" in black so I often opt for something a little more form fitting and stream-lined. These pants are great and the outfit possibilities are endless. I have them paired here with what may seem like a lot of metallic and shine, but the neutral based colors of the shirt and shoes make the look work (and it is office friendly)!

Fab Finds

Obviously the second a new J.Crew catalogue comes out, the Glitterati start drooling and start creating their shopping lists. We wanted to show you where we draw a lot of our inspiration from when it comes to putting together an outfit. Outfit #1 covers color-blocking and animal print in the most magnificent way. Let your outfit be bold... it will make your day more fun, PROMISE!

Outfit #2 is a monochrome option with some great jeans, a fabulous every-day-kind-of bag, and some loose natural waves. Can't go wrong on cooler days with layering a cable knit sweater over a button down shirt and finish with a chunky necklace. This red is so striking that it is just totally worth wearing 3 times over!

Hair Chalking:

Hair chalking seems to be the new rage on You Tube and Pinterest so your Glitterati thought they'd give it a try.. cue "Hair Chalking Party"! We watched this great DIY video, grabbed some soft pastels (available at your local Michael's craft store) and chalked away. It was fun, a little difficult, and definitely hard to wash out but would be a fun accessory to next years Halloween costume! Try it out and see what you think!

50 and Fabulous

Who says you can't be fabulous forever? The Glitterati say you can!

As Coco Chanel once said, "fashion fades, only style remains the same" and this woman has style. Meet Patty: wife, mother of two, avid golfer, and J. Crew enthusiast (you can imagine the Lilly Pulitzer hanging in her closet)! Ready for a Saturday trip to the mall, here we see Patty dressed with style and comfort, both of which are key. The shoes are an important piece to this outfit because we all know that power shopping around a mall all day can be hard work! Patty swears by these AGL flats (available at Nordstrom) and thus far they have served her well. Notice the contrast of the vibrant shirt against the dark jeans and navy blazer giving Patty's outfit the perfect pop of color. Each piece Patty is wearing is a closet staple, try out a similar look from your closet and accessorize!

Little Vignettes

Your Glitterati had a night of making our own pizzas, catching up on shows, and having photo shoots! Sometimes its more fun to get some fresh ingredients and make your own pizza on a Friday night rather than order out. Just trying to be domestic here!!

Nail art is becoming just as much of a fashion statement as anything else so we like to have a little fun with it! On the left: the chevron design makes the new French manicure (inspired by Refinery 29). On the right: following the latest nail trend by painting the ring finger a different color. This one could take many different avenues... we kept it in the metallic family so it wasn't so blatant. If you've got a big rock on your ring finger then give that one special finger some super sparkly polish!

Just wanted to show you how it's okay to mix and match patterns here. An aztec printed scarf and a striped tee both have some shades of red and compliment each other without being too busy. Necklace is from one of our new favorite jewelry spots... Jewelmint!

Barney likes to sit on the J.Crew catalogs on the bathroom counter and just did not like the bottle of Amazing Grace perfume in his space. He's feeling very guilty.

Floral Print

It's never too cold or wintery for floral prints! Living in New England we sometimes have limited time to wear certain items of clothing and for me, that's no fun. I like to have a large array of pieces to choose from and that's where the mixing and matching comes into play. This is a skirt I would typically wear in the spring/summer with a cute tank top and some wedges. Here it is paired with a 3/4 sleeved sweater, a jacket, socks and boots (my favorite!) for a perfect fall outfit with a pop of color!

Casual Cardigan

The crazy thing about New England is one week you have almost a foot of snow, the next weekend you don't even need a jacket and you can throw on some cute flats. A casual day was made comfy with a long oversized cardigan, a tee, and some cuffed jeans. It's fun when you can find perfect things in your closet to match. Jazz up your casual days with some perfect gems.
